Clinicopathological Studies on the renal Affections in Sheep

Abstract:
The kidneys separate wastes from the blood and excrete them from the body as urine. In the present work, some kidney affections were found as nephrosis, glomerulonephritis, interstitialnephritis and renal blood vessels disease. The present work was done to give a full compara-tive picture about the effect of kidney affections onthe blood picture, clinical biochemical changes, histo-pathological changes and bacterial infections. Also, tocorrelate the clinicopathological results with that of the histopathological results.Fifty two sheep were used in this work, divided into four groups according to the histopathological findings. The erythron mass in the present work in all groups were normocytic normochromic anaemia. The T.L.C. in the present work varied according to the tial leucocytic counts did not statistically change incase of nephrosis and renal blood vessels disease, .while there were leucocytosis and neutrophilia in caseof glomerulonephritis and interstitial nephritis .
