Some Studies on Bovine Mastitis

In this study 3 commercial farms were investigated during the period from 1993 - 1995 . Two were machine milking cows and the third one was hand milking buffaloes . The first farm was ( El. Tubgy ) private commercial farmcontained 560 highly lactating Friseian cows imported from Netherland . The second farm was (I.C.A.W) private governmental commercial farm _~;’ contained ( 456 ) highly lactating Holstein cows imported from U.S.A.The third was private farm contained ( 50) lactating native breed buffaloes .This work was conducted for: 1- Detection of subclinical mastitic cases by using ( 4 ) screening testswhich were California mastitis test ( C.M.T.) Modified Whiteside test(M.W.S.T.)
