Abstract:
The present study review the affection of poultry by Candida and Aspergillus. We examined three hundred samples for Candida affection in chickens, ducks and turkeys, and another three hundredsamples for Aspergillus affection in chickens, ducks and turkeys. Out of 200 chicken examined for candidiasis we found 29.5%positively concentration candida. The number of isolates was 59 the main isolated species was Candida albicanis (41), Candida tropiturkey out of 50 sample we isolate (11) of two species of Candida.The first was Candida tropicalis (8) and Candida parapsillosis (3). Identification of isolates was carried out by conventionamethods using the gross appearance of culture characteristics onto Sabouraud’s dextrose agar, microscopic examination on rice agar,sugar fermentation, sugar assimilation and commercial methods by API 20C.
