Bone marrow and blood samples were examined cytogenetically after treatment of animals doses were converted to doses for albino rats after being multiplied in afactor of 0.018. Then the animals were classified into five groups asfollowing:- Group I: was the control group.- Group 11: received methotrexate in a dose of 0.18 mg Ikg. B.wt1 1month with a collective dose of 0.72 mg. Group Ill: received methotrexate in a dose of 0.18 mg/kg. B.wt/2months with a collective dose of 1.44 mg. Group IV: received methotrexate in a dose of 0.45 mg/kg. B.wt/ 1month with a collective dose of 1.8 mg.Group V: received methotrexate in a dose of 0.45 mg/kg. B.wt/ 2months with a collective dose of 3.6 mg. The results were as following:Group I : Showed normal histological picture, no pathological changesand normal chromosomal patterns ..
