Some Biochemical Studies on Lochia In

The present study was conducted on the lochial discharge of 105 parturient Egyptian buffaloes in breedingcentre at EL-Khattara in Sharkia province. Cases were grouped according to the following a} Parity: 14 Primipara and 91 pluripara.b} Season: Parturient animals were divided in the two main seasons. from July to August as summer season. and seoson.the number of animals in summer and winter calving seasons were 62 and 43 respectively. c} Days post partumFirst. third and fifth days after birth. d} ohysical character of lochia : According to colour. odour. and viscosity of lochia. we can differentiated our cases into 70normal (14 primipara and 56 pluripara) and 35 abnormal cases. the percentage of abnormality in pluripara was 38.5 % ( 35 out of 91 ) while nothing in primipara.
