Abstract:
L) A total of 120 rats of field types were collected from various localities in different seasons in Sharkia Governorate.To explore the role played by thesecreatures as a vehicle for transmission of pathogenic microorganisms to man and animals. :) Trapped rats were identified and blood samples takenfor the possible detection of brucella organism in their sera.The rats were dissicated and subjected for Bacteriological and Mycological examinations. Specimens were taken from internal organs (lung, liver, spleen, intestine and heart blood) for bacteriological cultivation, from lungs for mycobacterial detection anddextrose agar with and without Cyclohexamide and Brain heart infusion agar with chloramphenicol. We could secured bacterial organisms Trapped rats were identified and blood samples taken.
