Abstract:
The anti-inflammatory drugs (steroidal and non- steroidal) & diuretics areused and extensively prescribed in both human and veterinaryThe present study was conducted as a trial to throw the light on theresponse of the immune system to the concurrent administration of some drugs. In this investigation, 80 calves at age of 4-6 month were classified into 2 mainvaccinated group and vaccinated group), each 5. They were treatedFirst group (non vaccinated group) that were classified into 8 subgroupswere treated as follow, the first subgroup was left as control, the second subgroup was given therapeutic regimen of (FUR) (1.0mg/kg b.wt.), the thirdsubgroup was given therapeutic regimen of (DEX) (10.Omg/kg b.wt.), the fourthsubgroup was given therap~utic regimen of (FM) (2.2mglkg b.wt.), the fifthsubgroup was given therapeutic regimen of (FUR and DEX) (1.0mg/kgb.wt&10.Omglkg b.wt. respectively), the six subgroup was given therapeuticregimen of (FUR and FM) (1.0mg/kg b.wt.&2.2mglkg b.wt. respectively),theseventh subgroup was given therapeutic regimen of (FM and DEX) (2.2mg/kgb.wt.&10.Omglkg b.wt. respectively) and the eighth subgroup was giventherapeutic regimen of (FUR,DEX and FM) (1.0mg/kg b.wt.&2.2mglkgb.wt.&10.Omg/kg b.wt. respectively).The second group (vaccinated group) that was classified into 8 subgroupswhich were treated as follow; the first subgroup was vaccinated with brucellavaccine strain 19 (Br.ab.V.), all subgroups were vaccinated with(Br.ab.V.) andgiven concurrently therapeutic regimen of (FUR) (1.0mglkg b.wt.) in the secondsubgroup, (DEX) (10.Omg/kg b.wt.) in the third subgroup, (FM) (2.2mg/kgb.wt.) in the fourth subgroup, (FUR and DEX) (1.0mglkg b.wt.&10.Omg/kg b.wt.respectively) in the fifth subgroup, (FUR and FM) (1.0mglkg b.wt.&2.2mglkgb.wt. respectively) in the six subgroup , (FM and DEX) (2.2mg/kgb.wt.&10.Omg/kg b.wt. respectively) in the seventh subgroup, and (FUR,DEXand FM) (1.0mg/kg b.wt.&2.2mglkg b.wt.&10.Omglkg b.wt. respectively) in the eighth subgroup .
