Abstract:
A total number of 110 sheep (ewes and lambs) were used in thisstudy. They were divided into 6 groups:Group I: divided to subgroup (1) include 25 lambs of 1-8 weeks.Subgroup (2): include 5 ewes of 2-3 years. The animals of group 1 belongto EI-Serwe farm, Animal Breeding Research Institute, DamiettaGovemorate were clinically normal and served as control.Group 11 consists of: subgroup (1) include 151ambs 0£2-6 weeks. from Kafr Abou Husain (Zagazig). subgroup 2 include 5 ewes of 2-4 yearsobtained form Kafr Abou Husain (Zagazig).Group III of 20 lambs of 3-7 weeks from Matrouh Governorate.Group IV of 12 lambs of 3-6 weeks from El-Karakira, Menya El Kamh, Sharkiaa govemorate.Group V consists of 8 lambs of 1-5 weeks from El-Ahrar (Zagazig).Group VI include 20 lambs of 4-8 weeks from EI-Salhia.The animals under investigation of groups 11, Ill, IV, V and VIsuffered from stiffness in gait, dullness, depression, recombancy andcough.The present work was planned to study the clinical, biochemical andhistopathological findings in lambs and their dams which suffering fromNMD. Estimation of vitamin E and selenium in tation and serum. Also,determination of some enzymes (creatine phosphokinase, aspartate aminotransferase and alanine aminotransferase and also determination of some blood parameters including haemoglobin concentration, total
