Abstract:
This investigation was carried out on a total number of 1450Friesian cattle (1300 dairy cows and 150 heifers). These animalswere subjected to full study included, history of the case, clinicalexamination, diagnosis, differential diagnosis which includedparasitological, histopathological and ultrasonographicexaminations, and treatment.”Eventually, surgical and some times medical treatment for therecorded cases were carried out and the clinical sings of eachcongenital as well as acquired affection were recorded and most ofthem were photo graphed .The morphological pattern of some normal structures of theudder and teats as well as to some teats and udder affections,were manifested throw ultrasonographic examination.Results of the present study revealed that, the incidence ofthe udder and teat affections constituted about 45.44% of theexamined cases (659 cases out of 1450).The congenital abnormalities recorded in the present studyconstituted 15.31 % from the examined cases (222 cases out of1450). Those were supermammary teat (187 cases, 12.89 0/0),webbed teats (3 cases, 0.2 0/0), teat obstruction and stenosis (17
