Abstract:
The influence of seasonal variation on the level of total protein andits components . as well as the immunoglobulin ”IgG” concentration in the blood of mature buffaloes during normal reproductive status (follicular and luteal phases of estrous cycle) and anestrus animals suffering from somereproductive disorders (inactive ovaries and persistent. corpus luteum)during green and dry seasons were investigated. This work was carried outon 40 mature female buffaloes suffering from anestrum and 40 normalcycling buffaloes, in kattara farm belonging to the animal development andfood security project sharkia province were used for the this investigation.During the period of the study the animals were proved to beclinically normal and free from any external, blood and internal parasites.Experimental work:Animals were divided into :1- Animals suffering from anestrum :The animals were classified into two main groups :Group I : Comprised 20 mature female buffaloes with inactive ovaries, 10of them in green season and another lOin dry season.Group 11 : Consisted of 20 mature female buffaloes with persistent corpusluteum, 10 buffaloes in green season and another lOin dryseason.2- Normal cycling animals:Comprised 40 normal cycling buffaloes which were divided intotwo main groups:
