Abstract:
The present results were conducted on two hunderds (200) left andright she-carnel’s ovaries (from one hunderds animals), collected fromboth of Cairo(EI-Basattein) and SHIBIN EL-QANATER abattoirs duringthe different seasons of the year . The age of which was ranged from ( 4-12) years old, while the previous history was unkown.The collected ovaries were examined morphologically for the recordingof the normal physiological structures, shape, dimensions and weight ofovaries in addition to its size.Histologically for studying the normal physiological changes duringthe different seasons of the year.The macroscopic appearance revealed the flattened-shape of theovaries,while their dimensions were ranged in means of 3.53 x1.83 x1.09ems. as length, width and thickness respectively, while the size wasranged in the mean of (2.98 ± 0.11)cm3. and their weights were with amean of(7.93 ± 0.25)gm.These macroscopic findings revealed a significant increase in the weightduring winter and spring(12.21±0.32)gm.and(6.85±0.35)gm.respectively,more than that during autumn and summer (6.61 ± 0.34)gm. and (3.73 ±0.07 )gm.]espectively.Also revealed a significant increase in the length of the ovaries during
