Abstract:
Poultry industry in Egypt was s~jected to various problems.Lowering fertility, hatchability and early enryonic death are considered to be one of them which cause great economical losses. So this study was planned as an utempt to throw spot lights on following items: Exploration of the possible bacterial causativeThe samples were bacteriologically examined in a trial to detect of the actual bacterial causes of this problem. Such samples were randomly collected according to production capacity of each hatcher.The obtained data of examined eggs revealed that the positive cases were 68 from .Mansoura (36.7%), 52 from Dekerenes (28.7%), 43 from Menyt El-Nasser (28.2%), 38 from Manzala (29.6%), 31 from Sherbeen (25.2%) and 29 samples from Aga (22.1 %).45 positive
