Abstract:
Summary:-In this investigation the bacterial diseases 111 some fresh waterornamental fish have been studied, where 1972 ornamental fish (540 angel,533 black mollies, 405 sword-tail and 494 guppy) were subjected toclinical examination for studying the incidence of bacterial infection withrelation to different level of water temperature. Trials for isolation thebacteria on different media and identification this isolated bacteria wereapplied. The percentage of isolated bacteria in relation to affected fishspecies were studied. studying the clinical signs and pathological changescaused by this bacteria were subjected.A total of 388 ornamental fish were used for studying thepathogenicity of the isolated bacteria on different fish species and wereused for trails of treatment the experimentally infected fish by differentantibiotics according to the results of sensitivity tests against thesebacterial pathogens. The results revealed that, the percentage of clinically affected fishamong examined ornamental fish were 35.37% in angel, 33.58% in blackmollies, 28.390/0 in sword-tail and 39.47% ill guppy. The incidence of bacterial infection among clinically affected fishwere 35.60,34.63,28.69% and 40.51% in angel, black mollies, sword-tailand guppy respectively. The incidence of bacterial infection at high water ”temperature wascomparatively higher than that at low water temperature.
