Abstract:
The present work is an attempt to study the changes in biophysiological character in birds as a result of migration. Many parameter’s were measured in these migrating birds after arrival to Egyptian coast also domesticated birds, these parameters aresumma1- Tested body weight, pectoral musceles and weight of other organs as liver, lung, heart, spleen, pancreas, kidney, testes and ovanes.2- Noticed the variations in the different blood values as red blood corpuscular count (RBCs).White blood corpuscular count (WBCs)Packed cell volume (Haematocrite volume) (PCV)Sedimentation rate (SR) Blood indices asMean corpuscular volume (M.C.V)Mean corpuscular haemoglobin (M.C.R)Mean corpuscular haemoglobin concentration (M.C.R.C)3- Determined the level of 3 hormones in plasma of migrating anddomesticated birds by (RIA) technique:- ~- endorphin hormone, Triiodothyronine hormone (T3) and thyroxine hormones (T4)4- Confmned the biochemical activity which play a role in energy metabolism during migration as:-Lactate dehydrogenase enzyme (LDH), lactic acid and pyruvic acid. The present investigation has been done in the department of physiology and biochemistry, Faculty of veterinary medicine, Zagazig University, the migratory bird were collected from El Arish
