Effect of Diabetes Mellitus on Some Vitamins And Minerals Level in Rat In Comparison with Sorne Histopathologic Changes

Diabetes mellitus is considered as a complex dis- . ease exhibiting different kinds and degrees of pathological lesions and complications. It is known that vi- tamins and minerals are important factors for keep-ing health and diabetic patients are in a great need for vitamins and minerals so, we make in this study a correlation between diabetes mellitus and vitaminsand minerals with histopathological changes. Forty two mature female rats weighting between (150-200 gm) were used in this work and dividedin to two main groups :- 1) Control group not injected with alloxan (n=7)and sacrificed at the end of the experiment. 2) Diabetic groups their number was 35 rats
