Abstract:
60 male albino wistar rats aged two weeks from the farm of Veterinary Medicine Collage, Zagazig University,were examined clinically and bacteriologically to ensure that they were free from any parasitic or bacterial diseases. They were fed well balanced diet and drinkingwater. These animals were classified as follows: Group I Group 11 It consists of 12 animals reared spearately andserved as control. It consists of 12 animals each animal wasdosed orally 1500 ~mole Lithium carbonate dailyfor one week. Group Ill: it consists of 12 animals each animal was dosedoraly 1500 umo l of Lithium carbonate daily for two weeks. group IV: it consists of 12 animals each animal was dosed orally 1500 ~mole Lithium carbonate for one month.
