Abstract:
This study was carried out in Physiology Dept., Fac. Vet. Med., Zagazig University, for studying the effects of different planes of nutrition containing different ratiosof fats and oils on the growth rate of Nile Catfish (Clarias lazera). The following were measured in the end ofeach experiment of the study:A) Growth parameters: they include body gain (B.G), weightgrowth rate (GRW),length growth rate (GRL) , specific growth rate (SGR) and food concoversion (FC).B)gDetermination the levels of growth hormone (GB), T3’ T4’ insulin and ACTH in plasma.C)Determination the levels of cholesterol, triglycerides, total lipids, free fatty acids (FFA), high density lipoprotein (BDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) inplasma.D)Determination the concentrations of cholesterol, total lipids and FFA in liver and muscle and the total proteinin the muscle only.Exper:iIrent (1):Different oils and fat, such as fish ail (F.O), soyabe an oil (S.O), cotton seed oil (C.S.O), corn oil (C.O) and beaf fat, were supple~ented in the fish diet in such a way that the lipid percentage (ingredient lipids +
