Abstract:
In this study on immunization of the groups of different animals species against Rift Valley Fever (RVF) by vaccination using two types of vaccines, live-attenuated vaccine and inactivated R VF vaccine to reach thebest type of vaccine which must be used in Egypt. A comparative studies between live attenuated vaccine and inactivated vaccine was carried out on eleven groups of different animals species (3 groups of sheep, 2 groups of goats, 2 groups of cattle, 2 grouinactivated vaccme by two inoculation, initial and booster dose after 4 weeks apart. Also our studies on the trial to detection of R VF virus from serum,milk, other secretion and excretion of animals post-vaccination by live-attenuated vaccine were carried out.Moreover, in this work, trial to immunization of camels by vaccination using live attenuated vaccine and inactivated vaccine were studied.About 2730 sera samples were collected from different animal species and groups after vaccination periodically at interval times.
