Influence of spectinomycin on the immunity of vaccinated chickens

In the present study, the effect of spectinomycin on the immuneresponse to newcastle ”F” strain vaccine was evaluated by measuringthe different parameters of humoral immune response ”Haemagglu-tination inhibition test and immunoelectrophoresis test”.Intramuscular injection of spectinomycin didn’t induce anymarked changes in the antibody titre in both 21 and 42 day oldchickens during the whole experimental period.On the other hand, spectinomycin evoked insignificant changesin total serum proteins in 21 and 42 day old chicken during the wholeexperimental period.Spectinomycin induced insignificant changes in serum albuminin both 21 and 42 day old chickens during the whole experimentalperiod.Spectinomycin elicited insignificant changes in serum a-globulinin both 21 and 42 day old chickens during the whole experimentalperiod.Spectinomycin elicited insignificant decrease III serumB1-g1obulin in both 21 and 42 day old chickens.
