Abstract:
Work was done to show the effect of insufficientamounts of well balanced rations on body weight gain,egg production of experimental infection on poultry.Body gain1. Birds cf’f ar e d sufficient amounts of food, supplYing287.2 Kcal ME/cock/day gained 5 & 10 grams of L.S.L.and Matrouh Cocks respectively.2. Restriction to 85 % (85 gm/cock/day) normally fedbirds caused a loss of 3.2 % and 4.8% of body weight ofL.,p .L. and Matrouh cocks respectively. J. Restriction to 70% (70gm/cock/day) normally fedbirds caused aloss of 7.7% and 7% body weight of L.S.L.and Matrouh cocks respectively.4. Gimmeza bilds Offered sufficient amounts of food,suppling 294.6 Kcal ME/bird/day gained 390 gm from16 weeks up to 22 weeks of age.5.
