Abstract:
The present work was pl.anne d to study some biochemical alterati ons in the blood and the tissue of some organs ofrats as a resul t of acute and chronic treatment with ambilhar as antibilharziasis drug.Fifty rats were selected from Faculty of Pharmacy Rome were kept under good hyageinic measures.The samples were collected after 7 days in acute treatment.chr on.i c one, the samples were collected after 21 days.The samples were subjected to analysis of the’ following parameters:1) 1i v er glyc ogen2) plasL’lS. cnalin€3terase3) Blood .ciaemoglotin4) Plasma Ir oniiiasma ceruloplasmin(56) red cells sllperoxide dislPntase.7)Cytocr..rome c oxidase in Liver8) cytochrome c oxidase in heart.
