Respiratory Diseases Arising from Air Pollution Inside Sheep Pens And Methods Of Treatment And Prophylaxis Of These Diseases

The subject of this dissertation is to investig-ate the nature and hazards of air pollution inside sheeppens with ~pescial refrence to respiratory diseases, and to discuss the methods of control •Our studies were conducted on four localities of suggested air pollution:farm of faculty of Agriculture Za&azig university, and Sheblanga due to the excistanceof bad sanitary snd hygienic conditions, whichconcequ-ently permits the elaboration of harmfull noxious gases, Bahr El-Baker due to the severely contaminated air with hydrogen sulphide, and EI-Mollak due to the dissert nature and dusty pollution ’Thus, a total· of 160 diseased and 40 control ani-mals, housed in the fore mentioned areas were examined,beside examination of the environmental conditions sur-roundipg them •Representive samples of blood, air, soil & nasal swabs, as well as lung specimens·were obtained, accor-ding to the clinical signs.
