Some trace elements in tissues of some fresh- water fish

Abstract:
Summary:-Two hundreds and fifty samples of fresh water fish (TilapiaNilotica) were collected during summer and winter seasons fromdifferent localities of Nile and its tributaries, 50 samples eachfrom El-Mateha, Assiut, El-Walidea, Salaam and Mankabad. Thesamples were taken in clean packet and frozen until examinationin labora t o r y .Collected samples were examined organoleptically then ana-lysed for heavy metals content (Cadmium, Coppper, Lead and Zinc).The statistical analytical results (minimum, maximum, meanand standard error) of cadmium level (ppm) in fish caught fromEl-Mateha, were 0.135, 0.471, 0.299±0.109 in summer, and 0.135,0.589, 0.389±0.124 in winter, from Assiut were 0.141, 0.707,0.325±0.127 in summer, and 0.188, 0.471, 0.326±0.097 in winter,from El-Walidea, were 0.117, 0.943, 0.381±0.159 in summer, 0.179,0.471 and 0.340±0.099 in winter, and from Salaam were 0.225,o . 707 , 0 . 359 ± 0 . 1 20 ins umm er, and O. 1 4 1 , 0 . 47 1, O. 293 ± 0 . 092 i nwinter, while from Mankabad were 0.117, 0.518, 0.354±0.120 insummer, O. 11 7, O. 707, O. 323 ± 0 . 1 42 in win t er , re spec t i vel y .The statistical analytical results (minimum, maximum, meanand standard error) of copper level (ppm) in fish caught from
