Pharmacodynamic studies on flumequine in chickens

Abstract:
Flumequine, a quinoline compound, is a relatively new synthetic antibacterial agent. The drug is usedas a prophylactic and therapeutic agent for control of colibacillosis and salmonellosis in chickens.from clinical point of view, the site of nerve block ofthe teeth including infraorbital, mental and lliandibuloa-lveolar nerve were recorded and the suitable side of theirinjection was determined.On the other hand the surgical studies were carried on 1000 equine animals (,,1-iorses, mules and donkeys).A total number of 9) animals 2) horses, 20 mules and )0 donkeys of the examined cases were seen affected. The incidence of the congenital abnormalities was19 %, the developmental abnormalities WaS 20 % while the dental affections was 16.1 %.
