Abstract:
This work was carried out on 18 Friesian female calve 91, 115 and 141 days old average. The calves were belonging to Cooperative Committee Farm of Animal Production, Abu-Hammad, Sharkia Province. Theywere apparently normal and were vaccinated with Br.abortus strain 19 vaccine. Blood was taken before and after vaccination. Studies were followed for 1, 4, 8 and12 weeks post-vaccination for haematological picture and serum survey. Vaccination was carried out by Brucella abortus strain 19 vaccine at a dose 5 ml subcutaneously.In this investigation results were before and after vaccination by 1, 4,8, and 12 weeks and revealed thaterythrocytic count showed in group 1, highly significantdifference between the prevaccination and 1 weekpostvaccination, and between 1 week and 12 weeks.Significant variation between one week and each of 4 and 8 weeks postvaccination. In group 2, highly significant variation between the prevaccination and 1 weekpostvaccination, also between 1 week and each of 8 and 12 weeks postvaccination. Significant vadifference between the prevaccination and 1 week postvaccination, and between 1 week and each of 4 and 8
