Comarative anatomical studies on the ear in some domestic animals with special reference to ear surgery and affections

The present study was classified into 3 main parts : Part I : Comparative anatomical studies on the ear in somedomestic animals : A total number of 21’ head and neck of differentspeaies of animals collected from the sloughter houses or from dissecting rooms and more than 20 living animals of each species were used in this part of the study and the following points were discussed . 1- Topographical anatomy of the external ear flap2- Topographical anatomy of the external auditory meatus.3- Nerve supply of the ear in donkey with special refer- ence to nerve block and local infilteration analgesia.4- Blood supply of the ear.Part II : Experimental ear surgery :This part was performed in our present study in a total number of 6 sheep and 6 goats on both ears and 2 experimental operations were performed namely, ear nob cb= ing and ear trimming.
