Abstract:
Skin scrapings and hairs from 40 cattle and 6 camels as well as skin scrapings , hairs and nails from 25 human cases were collected. A11 cases were examined microscopically and theseshowed positbility for dermatophyte infection were cultured on sabouraud dextrose agar with chloramphenical andcyclohexamidc, The fungal growth was primarly identified by culture characters and light microscopy,. Twenty isolates, belonging to seven fungal types, were detected. Trichoppyton. verrucosum were isolated from cattle andcamel ringworm. T. mentagrophytes were isolated from cattle ringworm.
