Clinical efficacies of some anesthetic agents in sheep and goats

Abstract:
Sixty trials were carried out on 60 small ruminant animals (30 sheep and 30 goats) to evaluate the clinical efficacies of propofol and ketamine hydrochloride anaesthetics. The animals were of both sexes, body weights and ranged in age from 3 months to 4 ygroup 3 and 0.07 mg/kg/minute in group 4. Ketamine was administered in animals of groups 5 and 6 at dosage rates of 8 mg/kg and 1.07 mg/kg/minute, respectively. Animals of different groups had elicited the following clinical efficacies:
