Abstract:
This study is clarify the anticoccidial efficacy of P. h armala andCocci-NeZ® in comparison with sulphaquinoxaline and also to evaluate the degree of immunity developed as a result of infection with Eimeria strain(E. ovinoidalis and E. crandallis ) .30 native breed male lambs aged six to eight weeks with an averageweight 13.17 +0.20 kg were subjected for this investigation.Atotal number of 1980 faecal samples were collected daily for (66)days (period of experiment) from all lambs .360 sera samples were obtained once aweek for ELISA test.Samples of small intestinetdeudoneum.Iejunurn and ileum) and largeintestine of (6) died lambs were conducted to examintion .Two weeks after collection of lambs were alloted into SlX groupsaccording to thier weight.Group 1 : (7 lambes) experimentally infected orally with one dose of 20ml saline containing 100.00 sporulated oocyst of E. ovinoidalisand E. crandallis • P. harmaZa (12 %) was added to ration asfollowsSubgroup (A) 3 lambs; treated at the beging of infection.Subgroup (B) 2 lambs; treated after appearance of sings.Subgroup (C) 2 lambs; treated after demonstration of oocyst infaeces .Group 2 : ( 7 lambs) were experimentally infected with the same d()se ofEimeria and Cocci - Nel ® 12% was added to ration asprevious group.
