Abstract:
The gist of this investigation is to determine the biochemicalchanges in fattening cattle that suffered from urinary troubles •. •Tn.e.materialof this study were obtained from survey had been done in the forms offeeder steers in Nobaria region ” Behira province. Urolithiasis wasthe solo problem met with during the survey in Da Ll.a farms • Twohundred affected animals from , total 4000 Frezian steers showed thesyndrom symptoms with 22 mortality cases of severely affected animalswere recorded. The follow up of the problem was done through thefollowing work. Feed samples were analysed chemically for minerals(Ca, P; , Hg), Vit A. and total carotene. The feed samples also, wereexamined for aflatoxin and rancidity.- Serum of 30 of the affected , treated t and control animals werebiochemically examined for calcium, phosphorus, magnesium t Vit Aand total carotenoids , urea, creatinine, total protein andprotein electrophoretogram •- The urine of the different groups were physicochemically , microscop-ically and bacteriologically examined •
