Abstract:
The present study, was done on two groups of cows from Elsaad model farm (Moffeed farm), and the animal agesrange from 5-7 year and were apparently healthy and showed regular oestrous cycle and subjected to the same kind of feed along the time of experiment, the reproductive records of each cow was of great concern, the first group, (control group) which have rvery high and the second group, (cows under experiment), which have pathologically affected uterus or cervix and calied( cyclic repeat breeder)JThe mucus’ of each cow werecollected at interval during oestrous cycle phases and different genital diseases. Abnormalities in the composition of cervical mucus might lead to a state of infertelity. The cervical factor account for 15-30% cases of infertility, the uterine cervix acts as a biological valveallowing variable entry of spermatozoa to the uterus at certain periods during the reproductive cycle, most offunction of the cervix are affected by the secretion of the endocervical glands forming the cervical mucus. thephaysical and chemical properties of cervical mucus determine Whether the spermatozoa penetrate the cervix andreach the site of fertilization. So, the mucus in these species can act either as an agent for conception I theaim of this study is to put good insight on the biochemical structure and alteration of infertile cow compared
