Abstract:
The present investigation studied the chorono- logical changes of the pre- and postnatal stages of the M. interosseous in both camel and buffalo. The material.L of prenatal was 45 camel embryos and foetuses and 33 buffalo embryos and foetuses. As well,40 limbs for postnatal study ( 20 limbs of each animal species ).The mater i at was collected from zagazig and cairo abattoirs and fi~ed, tr~ated by routine ana to-LU’!’(;~.J.. ” • .:t~J.v IS ,. ether samples were used for histo-Log.i ca L study and treated wi th special methods for detecti on of the picture of M. interosseous underroi croscope •FOr determination of the age of both camel and buffalo ,the CVR length values were used and trans-lated into days using the formulae of EL-w.ISHY et al.(1981) and ABDEL-RAOF and EL-NAGGAR(1968) respect- ively •The prenatal dindings showed:1. The first appearance of the limb bud in camel foetuses was detected at 1 cm CVR length(68 days) , whi le in buffalo foetUses , i t was detected inembryos of 1.9 cm CVR length (78 days ).
