Abstract:

The live and kianeys were friable.Microscopically, congestion and haemorrhage had been detecteu in brain, lungs, heart, liver, stomLlch, intestine and kidneys. Focal intcrstlLial and perivascular Lymiho cy t Lc aggregation were ae en inthe lungs, liver and ki,jneY!J. Vacuolar and hyaline de6eneration tOGether with coagulative necrosis hadbeen detected in the heart t liver and kidneys. Ln t e.rstitiul lyrnphocyt lc infll t ra ti on ami 1’1 b r ous t i;J3Ue proliferation could be seen in the lungsand liver. Degeneration of neurons and Purkinje cells were seen.These lesions had been noticed in the albino rats and guinea pi(,s expel imented with kLe r a t or the mixture of the 2 rodenticides. Calcium deposition was seen in the stomach, coronary vessels, aorta and renal parenchyma.Vacuolar and hyaline degeneration and coagulative necrosin had been detected in the heart, liver and kidneys. Diffuse perilobular fibrosis and hyaline degeneration of theseconnective tissue were evident. Oedema in the portal area.
