Abstract:
our study deals with three newly applied dis-infectants used in poultry farms, these disinfectantsare phenique Abdien, fam and Anti-Germ.Four hundred fertile eggs used in this investiga-tions which classified into four groups (each contained100 eggs). The 1st, 2nd and Jrd groups are used forstudy the toxicological effect of phenolic compound,Iodophor compound and Quaternary mmnonium compound res-pectively. While the 4th one served as control. Eachgroup subdivided into groups, the l§i one immersed indisinfect’s solution on 4th day post incubation, the2nd one was inoculated by ~ ml of the solution intothe yolk sac on the 4th day post incubation, while thecontrol group was Dllinersed and inoculated by dist.water as placebo solution. At the end of incubationperiod (twenty days), the immersed and inoculated eggsfrom each group opened and the hatchability percentagewas recorded (26% in phenique Abdien-56% in PAW and 46%in Anti-Germ) • while it was 80% in control groups. In order to study the teratogenic effect, ~the pre-pared foeti stained with Alizarin red showed that theeggs treated by the three disinfectants lirunersionlyhas no effect, while when inoculated it showed abnor-malities which can be explained as following, Incomplete
