Clinico-Pathological Studies on the Post Paratum Period In Buffaloes

Abstract:
The present study was carried out to investigate changes in blood serum consti tuents associated wi th some causes producing infertility in Egyptian buffaloes. A total of 59 females buffaloes from Menoffia province were studied. Based on the history and caccording to their reproductive performance The first group of19 ) buffaloes were normally cyclingattended to the clinic in follicular or luteal phases of the oestrous cycle which was insured by rectal examination. The secondgroup of ( 17 ) buffaloes had inactive ovaries, they were withoutpathological affections in the genital tract but revealed no structures on the ovaries, there was a history of post parturient anoestrum for about 6 months. The third group of ( 23 ) buffaloes had a pathological affections of the genital tract. The animalhave had a history of repeated breeder and the rectal palpation revealed the presence of ’endometritis with the presence of turbid vaginal discharge.
