The third main group was consisted from 10 rats and kept as control. The lesions in group I (subgroup A,B and C) which received 250 mg/kg B.wt.atrazine were similar. The liver was enlarged, dark red and friable. Microscopically, congestionof hepatic blood vessels, degenerative changes and infilt-ration of portal areas with lymphocytes were observed.Coagulative necrosis, fatty change and fibroblastic proli- feration were noticed in subgroup I-A beside fatty change only in the liver of subgroup I-B.
