Abstract:
Pesticides are considered the ’most important synthetic chemicalswhich may pollute the environments, because of their widely used as:Herbicides, insecticides, acaricides, Nematocides, Molluscicides andbacteriocidesRoundup (Glyphosate) is a broad spectrum, post - emergence andorganophosphorus herbicide.Roundup herbicide was chosen for our toxicological studies as it isrecently used in large scale in Egypt.In additiion to the lack of fullavailable toxicological data ,and presence of its residues in the Egyptian plants.Our toxicological studies were carried out on Rabbits,Rats and Mice.The aim from this study was to understand and determine The possibleharmfull effects of Roundup as one of the environmental pollutants inEgypt, for sharing the efforts of different sources in minimizing thedangerous effects of environmental pollutants in EgyptOur study is divided into three main parts:The first part:In this study fourty Newzeland rabbits were divided into four equalgroups, the first group used as a control, the other three groupsadministered Roundup in water at the dose levels of 10,000, 20,000 and
