Abstract:
The present investigation was done in the department of physiology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, ZagazigUniversity. The study includ~J 90 adult female one humped camel. The samples which were collected from Cairo slaughter house , included the uterus, oviduct, ovary add placenta, for estimationreceptor related to ovarian morphology.Study of Receptor Levels:The study included estimation of cytosolic estrogen and progesterone binding capacity in non pregnant adultfemale camel ”uterus, oviduct and ovary and pregnant one RN 3 ”uterus, placenta and corpus 1’1teum. u s i.n g RlAEN [H]Estrogen Receptor Assay kit and RlAEN™[3H] Progesterone Receptor Assay kit.Receptors Levels can be Summarized as following:I.The non pregnant females:a) Females containing artive ovary:1- The uterus: There was gradual decrease ln estrogen binding capacity through the growing of Graafian follicle where it overaged 101 fmol/mg cytosol protein at first stage thendecrease to reach 33.8 fmol/mg cytosol protein at mature phase.
