Abstract:
Some biochemical aspects on nucleotides in experi- mentally infected poultry using radioactive phosphoruswas investigated. 68, one day old, Dokki-4 chicks obtained from, Hehia poultry farm, Sharkia Governorate, were used for this investigation. Chicks were divided into two main groups, one representing experimentalviral infection and the second representing bacterial infection.(A) Viral infected group:Comprised, 56 chicks of J 5 days age. 0, chicks were used as control for viral infectedgroup. Experiment VIa:16, chicks were subjected to intrfu~uscular inoculation with 0.1 ml sterile saline suspension containing 625 x 102 virulentNewcastle disease virus strain. Liver and pectoral muscle were collected from 6 chicks, 24-hours after infection a~d 24-hours later the sampleswere collected from the other 8 chicks.Experbent VIb:Included 16, chicks which were incculEtec in:’ramuscularly with 1 ml sterile
