Abstract:
The antimicrobial activity .)f suramine so d Lum , diminaz-ine aceturate and amr)lium hydrochloride in differentconcentrQtions were investigate-le Staphylococcus aureus, Corynebacterium ovis, Salmonella typhimurium and Candida albicanis were studied using different methods of sensitivitytests in vitro, as well as, in vivo.In vitro studies. Staphylococcus aureus, corynebacterium ovis and Salmonellt riwn were sensitive to all tested concentra t ions ofdiminazine aceturate. The concentrarion of 8xlO-5 m. molllitre was found to be bactericidal, while other testedconcentrations were bac~criostatic.Candida albicanis was insensitive to the lowest testedconcentratiClnof diminazine aceturate. Concentrati)n of8xlO-5 m. moll li tre d Lm.i-Laz Lrie aceturate was found toAmprolium hydrochl)ride in a concentration )f 2xlO-J m.moll litre had a bacteriostatic effect against Staphylococcus• be -fungicidal, while the concentra tions moll litre were fungistatic.
