Abstract:
Incidence of Campylobacter species from domesticated animals.1- Members of genus Campylobacter were isolatedfrom 73(21.47%) out of 340 faecal samples obtained from cattle, buffaloes, buffaloe calves, sheepand cats with a percentage of 35,8,18, 24 and respectively. 2- The isolated strainsbelonged to threespecies £.fetus (f.fetus subspecies jejuni and C.fetus subspecies intestinalis); f.fecalis C.sputorum with various incidencelf.fet~ subspecies jejuni was tand 25.00% respectively.Members of genus Campylobacter were alsoisolated from the bile samples collected from cattle (33%), buffaloe calves (22%), sheep(20%).
