Microbiological Studies on Deep Frozen Friesian Semen During The Different Stages of Processing

Abstract:
In this work, 54 raw semen samples from Friesian bulls at 3 different localities ; Beni Suef A.I. Center , Sakha A.I. Research Cent er and Seds farm , as well as 23 frozen semen samples from Beni Suef A.I. Cent er , were bacteriologically examined for theIt was noticed that all highly contaminated samples were drived from bulls of Seds farm , which were used in natural service as well asattained in dirty floor.Seventy nine isolates were isolated and identified from the 54 raw semen samples as follow: 12 Q. renale (22.2%) , 11 Strept • .faecalis(20.4$\S),10 Staph. epidermidis ” (18.5%) 7 isolates from each of Micrococcus varians ,E. coli and Citrobacter freundii (13% each) , 6 isolates.
