Cyclic variations in inhibin & competitive protein binding to gonadotrophin during estrous cycle

- Serum samples were collected from 10 Barki e~es at0, 4~ 8, 12, and 16 days postestrus by using vasecto-mized ram in detecting the.eatrus ,- They were used for determination of FSH and LH byhemagglutination inhibition immunoassay method.- The capacity of the serum of ewes to neutralize homo-logous ovine FSH and LH was determined during the fivephases of the estrous cycle studied.- A second collection of serum samples were obtainedduring the forementioned phases of the estrous cycleof Barki ewes during the second estrous cycle. Theserum albumin fraction was separated by ethyl alcohol at50C.- The non-steroid serum albumin was fractioned by acolumn of Sephadex G-IOO.- The first serum albumin fraction (Fl) was collectedfirst then F2 was collected.- The fractions were reconstituted to the original volumeof serum.
