Abstract:
A study was carried on 500 skulls of one-humped camel fordentalinvestigation with particular emphasis on the dental affections that: . 1- A detailed description of the teeth of camel wasperformed and the recommended milk dental formula was : h .9..t.. 2 ; P,M,2 x = 22 J 1 recommended 2 permanentWhile the dental formula was:2-The results indicated that the macroscopical str- ucture of the teeth of the camel is two types , brachydont teeth which represented by the incisorsand the canine), and hypsodont teeth which represented by premolars and molars, J- The results showed the following dental affections:a- Developmental abnormalities as oligodontia(ll~l% ;dental diastasis (9.4%) notches on thencisors (4.6%); brachygnathia inferior (J.4%);and mal-conformation and position (2.2 % ).
