Abstract:
Cryptosporidium is found in mammals, birds, fish and reptils . Theyare sporozoan species (Apicomplexa, Eimeriina) which can be transferredbetween a wide range of host species without an intermediate host, andpredominantly passed from different domestic animals to man. This workwas conductedto clarify some detalis about the susceptible organs or tissuesthrough an experimental oral, intracloacal inoculation and intratracheal inoculation routes on broiler chicks studying the important step of the life cycle through inoculation on chicks embryos of the cultivated eggs .Cryptosporidium baileyi oocysts were isolated from the bursa ofFabricius (BF) of 100 broilers 4 weeks-old (Gallus domesticus) taken from alarge commercial flock at Tanah in Dakahlia province and this flock had ahistory of watery diarrhea, low growth rate and depletion . 110 broilerchicks of 2 day old free from cryptosporidial infection were divided into 5 groups . The first and second (each of 25 chicks) inoculated intracloacal and intratracheally respectively. The 3rd and 4th. Group (each of25 chicks) were left as positive and negThe 5th group of 10 chicks were sacrified at start of the experiment and its differentorgans (Trachea, ileum, Caeci, Cloaca and BF) and its . DROPpings were examined microscopically to ensure that these all chicks (110) were free from cryptosporidial infe
