Abstract:
Among the pathological conditions intensively affecting rabbitproduction, the enteric diseases have been of greatest economic importance. Out of these E. coli infection of growing rabbits were considered the mostserious problem. Many antibiotics are used in treatment of diarrhoea ingrowing rabbits such as norfloxacin and spectinomycin. 90 white NewZland rabbits of both sexes 30-45 days old and 1 kg average weight were used in this work and divided into six groups I, Il, Ill, IV, V and VI. Group I was of 15 rabbits and divided into 3Group Il was of 15 rabbits and also subdivided into 3 equal subgroupsa, band c. Subgroup a was given spectinomycin for 5 successive days,subgroup b for 10 days and subgroup c for 20 successive days. Group III was of 15 rabbits and infected with E. coli serotype 02 and treated with norfloxacin and subdivided into 3 equal subgroups, subgroup a was treated for 5 days, subgroup b for 10 days a
