Abstract:
In this work, one hundred and forty Armout cat fish (Clarias lazera) were collected from different fish cultures in Sharkia Governorate, bred in accommodated aquaria and fed on fish meal.Aeromonas hyDROPhila strain was isolated from naturally infected Armout cat fish from liver, skin and intestine on R.S. medium and biochemicallyidentified as it was stated by Nygaard et al. (1970) and Wakabayashi etal. (1980).The average value of 1050 obtained in this study according to Reed and Muench (1938) were 10-5.5/0.5 ml of bacterial suspension (Table 1).The tested fishes wereintraperitoneally inoculated with 0.5 ml/100 gm body weight.Data obtained were statistically analysed and represented in (9) Tables and (7) Figures.
