Pesticides Pollution of Surface Water in Relation To Animal

L. The residues of organochlorine and organophosphorus pesticides in mifferent water sources and organo- chlorine pesticides in their bottom mud were detected and determined. A total of 72 water samples fromagricultural streams and drains, as well as 18 bottom mud samples were examined. 2. Organochlorine residues in streams and drains revealed that o(-BHC residues ranged from 0.5774 to 90.6789 ng/liter. Highest concentrations were found in summer and autumn.
