Abstract:
In this experimental study , the pharmacological effects of tylosin , sulphaquinoxaline and their combinationwere studied on chicken • The blood picture and the hicLopathological findings in the liver , spleen , kidneys and the heart of baby chicks administered the therapeuticdoses of the above mentioned drugs were also investigated •1-Pharmacological Studies.A dose dependent inhibitory effect was produced by sulphaquinoxaline , tylosin and their combination on the chicken duodenum and illeum preparations • These effects were evident to be due a ganglionic blocking activity andatropine like effect of both drugs •On the oviduct , sulphaquinoxaline , tylosin or theircombination produced a dose related inhibitory effect on thechicken oviduct •No effect was obtained on the skletal musclec of chicken by sulphaquinoxaline , tylosin or their combination •Sulphaquinoxaline , tylosin or their combination induced an arterial hypotensive effect in chicken associated
