Abstract:
Experimental urethral obstruction was done on 30 male goats. Daily observation of tbe manifisted clinicalsymptoms in addi tion to Hb;, p , c eV.% & E.S.R. were reported.The B.U.No creatinine, calcium, Inorg. Pho sph , mag= nesium sodium & Potassium were determined in t hc serum. B~U~No & creatinine were also d e’t e.rmi.ned in abdominalsamplas~ Gollcy pains witb arcbing of the back, f’ailure ~ttmptsto urinate. and strong urethral pulsation were the pre-dominRnt clinical features in allurethral obst~uction$animals duringAs th e bladder get ruptured, all animals contracteda water belly, ammoniaeal adour could be detected f’romthe mouth in most animals, together with cough & bilateralnasal, d i acb ange and diarrhoea wi tb bloody muo o us , Slightdecrease in body temperature with accelerated pulse andHurried respiration were uso noticed.Inability to feel th e distended bladder was a signto detect its rupture, Also, The high content of B.U.N •Tbrough analysis of the abdominocentesis samples,
